WHY I'M RUNNING
“My community asked me to step forward and I answered the call”
Assembly District 57 includes Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, portions of Crown Heights, and Bedford Stuyvesant. Yet too often, some neighborhoods feel left out of political visibility and decision making.
District Leaders help shape judicial support, candidate endorsements, and internal party governance.
Those decisions directly impact eviction cases, deed theft disputes, youth justice outcomes, small business stability, and civil rights protections.
This is an unpaid position, but it holds real structural power.
I am running to ensure that power reflects public housing residents, homeowners, seniors, small business owners, youth, people with disabilities, LGBTQ Plus residents, immigrant communities, and working families across every neighborhood in AD 57.
My Platform
1
Housing Stability and Deed Theft Prevention
Protect tenants, public housing residents, homeowners, and seniors from eviction, foreclosure, and deed theft that strips generational wealth.
2
Judicial Accountability
Support judges who understand housing instability, youth justice reform, disability rights, and economic inequality.
3
Youth Justice and Opportunity
Prioritize mentorship, diversion programs, leadership development, and real opportunity over punitive systems.
